Researcher’s Night – 2017

On last Friday of September five hundred visitors attended the Researcher’s Night program at Student’s Laboratory of Department. Tea mixture preparing, interesting drugs and their stories, volatile oil recognition contest, and the basics of chromatography were presented.

International PSE Symposium

Andrea Vasas attended the “International PSE Symposium: New & old phytochemicals: their role in ecology, veterinary & welfare” conference in Francavilla al Mare (Italy) between September 17-19.

Egon Stahl Award

At 65th Annual Meeting of Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research the Egon Stahl Award in Silver was awarded to Attila Hunyadi for his work on ecdysteroids and protoflavones. This award is given for his outstanding achievements in pharmacognosy and phytochemistry. Dr. Hunyadi is the first Hungarian researcher recognized with Egon Stahl Award.

Outstanding PhD thesis
